CAMBRIDGE CITY-  Norma Lou Summan, 96, of Cambridge City, Indiana, passed away Thursday afternoon May 26, 2022 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle, Indiana.  A daughter of the late Orville Swain and Thelma (Huffman) Tague, Norma was born in Connersville, Indiana on April 28, 1926.  She was a graduate of Lincoln High School.  Norma married the late John Summan on April 26, 1947 and they lived on a farm in Milton for forty one years before retiring in Cambridge City in 1990.  John preceded her in death on May 18, 2012.  She was a member of the Milton Christian Church. Norma worked as a secretary for many local businesses and volunteered at the Senior Center in Cambridge City.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Kim (Bill) Hudson; granddaughter, Anna Marie (Dave) Leyes; step grandchildren, Keith (Julie) Hudson, Kevin (Gina) Hudson, Roxann (Chuck) Romine and Billy Hudson; great granddaughter, Alivia Leyes; many step great and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Gethers, Nadine (Charles) Reisert and Sharon (Larry) Harris; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Stonebrooke for the love and care they gave Norma.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. on Tuesday May 31, 2022 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.  Pastor Scott Moistner will officiate.  Burial will follow at Zion's Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing.
