LEWISVILLE- Nancy E. Cole, 88, passed away Friday morning May 1, 2026, at The Waters of Rushville. A daughter of the late Herschel Lowell and Vera (Dishman) Hawk, Nancy was born in Henry County, Indiana on January 31, 1938, and was a graduate of Lewisville High School with the class of 1956. She married Floyd Cole on August 26, 1956, and they made her home and raised their sons south of Lewisville in Rush County. Nancy was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother, she provided care for her handicapped son, Doug, until the time of his passing. She loved her family very much and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd on July 8, 1995; 2 sons, Darrell on August 12, 2022, and Doug on December 10, 2022; and great grandson, Tristen Alan Cole on November 2, 2004.

Survivors include 2 sons, Dale (Kellyrae) Cole and Darren Cole; 3 grandsons; 2 great grandsons; and 1 great granddaughter.

A time to celebrate Nancy’s life will be announced at a later date. Following cremation she will be laid to rest at Raleigh Cemetery.
