Richmond- Nancy Jo (Hubble) Carey, 51, passed away on Monday evening October 11, 2010 at the Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Nancy Jo was born in New Castle, Indiana on May 25, 1959. She has lived most of her life in the Richmond community and was a member of the Englewood Christian Assembly of God in Englewood, Ohio. Nancy loved being with her family and enjoyed spending time on her computer. Survivors include her parents- Kenneth E. and Louise (McKillip) Carey of Richmond; 3 siblings- Ricky Lee (Linda) Carey of Seminole, Florida, Toney Lee (Lora) Carey of Indianapolis and Lisa Jo (Rev. Timothy) Scarbrough of Vandalia, Ohio; 3 aunts- Rosetta Shock of Williamsburg, Muriel Dobbs of New Castle and Louetta Hale of Richmond; several cousins, nieces, nephews and Louis Hubble of Richmond. Nancy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents- Dorthy and George McKillip of New Lisbon and paternal grandparents- Ed and Della Carey of Richmond. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. on Thursday October 14, 2010 at the Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 W. National Road / Richmond, IN 47374. Rev. Timothy Scarbrough of the Englewood Christian Assembly of God Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Earlham Cemetery. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
