Millville – Misty Lynn Waltz, 60, passed away at her home in the early hours of December 2nd, 2025, after a hard fought battle with an extended illness. A daughter of the late Harvey E. and Phyllis (Trisler) Loveall, Misty was born on March 12th, 1965, in New Castle, Indiana. She graduated from Hagerstown Jr./Sr. High School with the class of 1983. Following high school, she moved to Laurinburg, North Carolina with her then fiancé John Waltz and on April 27, 1985, they were married in Dillon, South Carolina. They were members of the Laurinburg community for 15 years before moving home to Millville, Indiana. Misty enjoyed reading, caring for children and was an advocate for both people and animals less fortunate.

Survivors include her husband of over 40 years, John; 2 sons, John Presley Waltz and Laith Corrigan (Linsey) Waltz, both of Millville; daughter, Emily Sarie Waltz; 3 grandchildren Rayne, Charlotte, and Corrigan; her sister, Amy Finn; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In accordance with Misty's wishes, no public services will be held. A small gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
