Misty Diane (Upchurch) Abercrombie, 47, was born on August 5, 1967 in New Castle, Indiana passed away in Tempe, Arizona on Sunday, October 26th 2014. Formerly of Henry and Hancock Counties, Misty has lived in Arizona for the past 8 years. Misty was a beautiful and loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She will forever be remembered and our time with her cherished. Misty was a graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School where she was a member of the band. She was also a graduate from the University of Phoenix and was employed at Tempe Kia Auto Dealership. Misty is survived by her father and stepmother, Roger and Peggy Upchurch; her mother and stepfather, Diane King Lamb and Robert Ballard; three children, Nathan, Taylor and Ivey Spreen; granddaughter, Kinley Carlisle; sisters, Shelby Upchurch Rouse and Taja Rumble; brother, Gabriel Lamb; several nieces, nephews, cousins, grandparents and extended family. A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home- 115 West U.S. Hwy. 40 Lewisville, IN 47352. Burial will follow at the New Lisbon Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 6th from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
