NEW LISBON- Michael R. Lambert, 52, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening December 5, 2016 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Mike was born in New Castle, Indiana on December 6, 1963. He was raised in the Cambridge City area and attended school there. He and his wife Kristi were married in Richmond on November 9, 1986 and have made their home outside of New Lisbon for several years. Mike worked as a nurseryman and was employed by Hillside Nursery for several years. He enjoyed fishing in his leisure. Survivors include his wife, Kristi (Weston) Lambert of New Lisbon; 2 sons, Alan (Jennifer) Lambert of Kennard and Devon (Heather) Lambert of Mt. Auburn; 5 grandchildren, Rebecca, Gavin, Haley, Corbin and Kortnie; his mother, Marylou (Cooksey) Lambert; 3 siblings, Scott, Tommy and Beth Lambert of San Angelo, Texas. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Ira Lambert; mother in-law, Alice Weston and sister in-law, Anna Siggers. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday December 9, 2016 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Cremation will follow.
