DUBLIN- Michael Forrest Darter, 67, of Dublin passed away Friday morning July 6, 2018 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana. A son of the late Forrest "Boots" and Darlene V. (Petersohn) Darter, Michael was born in New Castle, Indiana on February 20, 1951. Mickey graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1969. He had a lifelong love of gardening and landscaping which was nurtured from an early age by his work with his parents at Hillside Nursery. Mickey also enjoyed restoring older homes, bringing them back to their original splendor, his own was no exception.

Survivors include his son, Shawn (wife, Robin) Darter of Virginia and a 3 week old granddaughter, Olivia.

Honoring Mickey's wishes, no services are planned. He would like to be remembered for his wit, humor and kindness.
