Michael Muckridge was a loving and faithful partner of Don Drennen for over 22 years. He had a wonderful gift of being able to help people in need. Michael achieved his Masters of Social Work at IUPUI, in Indianapolis, as well as his Bachelor's degree. Michael also attend San Diego State University where received two Associate degrees. He was a 1985 graduate of Lincoln High School. As a Licensed Social Worker in Indiana, Michael served his patients at St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital with grace and dignity. Michael was also a former United States Marine Corp veteran in which he proudly served his country and continue to live the motto of "no man left behind". Michael was a great community advocate throughout his life. Michael worked with the AIDS Foundation, doing outreach, as well as supporting every community work in the GLBT community. He lead many support groups like the Indianapolis Northwest Self Help, MS Support group at St Vincent Hospital, and Global Movement of MS Awareness. Earlier in his life, Michael was a large supporter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association by servicing as a camp counselor and holding fund raisers from back yard carnivals to dance-a-thons. Michael devoted his life to always serving others in need. His passion for life was amazing. Michael never let his MS deter him from doing what he wanted to do. Michael also leaves behind an amazing son William Charles Muckridge, whom also emulates his dad's passion for life. Michael was so proud of his son. Michael also leaves behind two loving and giving parents, Don and Irene Muckridge, two brothers, Patrick and his wife Tammy and Brent and his partner Stephen Kowal, step grandmother, Jeannette Muckridge and also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces which he loved and adored.
