NEW CASTLE - On September 5, 2017 Michael R. Bovender, "Bo", found peace and comfort with his family at his bedside. A son of the late Roy and Mary Lou Bovender, Bo was born in New Castle, Indiana on March 17, 1946. A lifelong member of the Spiceland and New Castle communities, Bo was a graduate of Chrysler High School with the class of 1964. He retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1996 after 32 years of dedicated service. In his leisure, Bo enjoyed golfing, fishing, mowing the yard and gardening. He was a talented photographer and liked to work crossword puzzles. Bo also enjoyed watching sports and was an avid I.U. fan.

Bo will be sadly missed by his daughter, Paige (husband Doug) Fairchild of New Castle also his grandkids, Brent (Kristen) and Brice Fairchild and many friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday September 8, 2017 at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
