Obituary

CAMBRIDGE CITY- Maxine L. Fiedler, 85, passed away on Wednesday afternoon January 27, 2016 at Flatrock River Lodge in Rushville, Indiana. A daughter of the late Ralph and Goldie (Shephard) Burris, Maxine was born in Arcanum, Ohio on March 25, 1930. Maxine has lived all her life in the Cambridge City and Dublin communities. She graduated high school from Olivet Nazarene College and was also a graduate from House of James School of Cosmetology. Maxine had worked as an office clerk for Western Union, Balanced Line Casket and retired from King's Title and Abstract. She was a member of the Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene where she took on many responsibilities which included Sunday School Teacher, board member, organist and pianist. Maxine enjoyed listening and playing music and in her leisure doing craft work, ceramics, knitting and crocheting. Survivors include 1sister, Welma Hughes of Connersville and beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Jack F. Fiedler on August 13, 1970. They were married on June 30, 1962 in South Bend, Indiana. An infant child; sister, Juanita Dungan on April 7, 2013; infant brother William "Bill" Burris; step father, Rev. Herbert Evans; 2 nieces; 3 nephews. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 1 p.m. on Saturday January 30, 2016 at the Dublin Gospel Mission Church which is located north of U.S. Hwy. 40 at 148 Dublin Street/ Dublin, IN 47335. Rev. Daryl Bertram will officiate. Burial will follow at the South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements
