LEWISVILLE- Max L. Eaton, 89, formerly of Lewisville, passed away on Friday morning June 28, 2013 at the home of his daughter in New Castle, Indiana. A son of the late Ray and Marie (Hayes) Eaton, Max was born in New Castle, Indiana on February 23, 1924. He attended school in Spiceland and served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Max was the owner/operator of Eaton's Plumbing & Heating for many years. He liked to fish and garden. Survivors include his 2 children, Jerry Eaton of Dunreith and Kay Smith of New Castle; grandchildren, Brandon (Monica) Hudson and Mandi Johnson; great grandchildren, Ashlyn Johnson, Haley and Zac Hudson and Aaliyah McCool; brother, Phil (Mary K.) Eaton of Anderson; sister, Rae Etta (John) Burk of Indianapolis; two sister-in-laws, Barbara Eaton of New Palestine, Juanita Clark of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews. Max was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette (Clark) Eaton; son, Terry Max Eaton; step mother, Juretta Rastbickler; sisters, Doris Lane, Peg Leach and Kathryn Hickman; brothers, Kenny, Dick and Gene. Honoring Max's wishes, private burial will take place next to his wife at the Lewisville Cemetery. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
