DUBLIN- Mary Catherine Norman, 89, passed away at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville, Indiana on Wednesday evening March 21, 2012. A daughter of the late Otto and Helena Fern (Myers) Freed, Mary was born in Salem, Indiana on March 9, 1923. She has lived most of her life in the Cambridge City/Dublin community and had worked in the office at Perfect Circle. Mary was a loving mother with an independent and strong will. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mary is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Billy Joe and Marcia Norman of Cambridge City; 1 sister, Lela Mae Freed of Pershing. Mary was preceded in death by her husband William Ralph Norman on November 21, 1978 and a toddler son, William Ray Norman on June 3, 1943. At Mary's request, private graveside services and burial will be held at the South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
