DUBLIN- Marvin Lee Schroeder, 73, passed away Monday evening, September 12th, 2022, at Miller's Merry Manor in Rushville, Indiana with his longtime caregivers and good friends, Carlos, and Tina Byrd at his side. Marvin was born to the late Carl and Nettie Schroeder on December 14th, 1948. Marvin lived in Indianapolis most of his life before moving to the Dublin community in 2012. He was honored to be the end-of-life caregiver for his mother and two aunts. Marvin was a Boy Scout and enlisted in the United States Air Force after high school. He was honorably discharged after four years of service. Marvin worked as a carpet layer and later for a mowing service. He enjoyed collecting antiques.

Marvin is survived by one brother, Tom Schroeder; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Marsha.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday September 16, 2022, at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, where cremation will follow. Burial will be with his family at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis and his fellow veterans at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
