PERSHING-  Mark Edward Reisert Jr., 47, passed away Saturday evening September 25, 2021 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana from complications of COVID19.  Mark was born in Connersville, Indiana on April 29, 1974.  He graduated from Connersville Senior High School in 1992 and attended Ivy Tech.  Mark was an auto mechanic and had been employed at DOT Foods and Sugar Creek in Cambridge City and at Hydro in Connersville.  Mark liked muscle cars and square body chevy trucks.  He enjoyed woodworking, building furniture and playing with his pit bulls.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, the former JoAnna Lynn Burns.  They were married in Richmond on July 11, 1994; 2 children, Ciara Dawnne and Tyler Mason Reisert; 2 brothers, John (Audrea) Mills and Frank Mills; 2 nephews, Braxton and Brennan Mills; 1 niece, Jayden Mills; father, Mark E. Reisert Sr.; several step-siblings.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie (Miller) Mills; paternal grandparents, Jean and Paul Reisert; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Miller.

A celebration of Mark's life will be announced privately.  Mark's family would like to suggest to please get your COVID vaccine in his memory.

Cremation will be completed by Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.
