CONNERSVILLE- Marjorie Simmons, 82, passed away on Thursday April 19, 2012 at Sycamore Springs in Liberty, Indiana. A daughter of the late Harry and Jessie Ann (Williams) Simmons, Marjorie was born on September 19, 1929 in Sutton Valence, Kent County, England. Marjorie earned her United States citizenship in 1968. Formerly of Richmond she had lived most of her life in the Connersville community. Marjorie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include her nephew, Dave (Donna) Carter of Richmond. Marjorie was preceded in death by her sister, Joan (Simmons) Carter on September 17, 1995 and brother in law, Eugene Carter on April 18, 1997 both of Cambridge City; 2 nieces, Lesley Klein of Milton on October 25, 1993 and Jacqueline Jacobs of Arizona on November 19, 1999; 1 brother, Ronnie Simmons. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday April 23, 2012 at the Earlham Cemetery in Richmond. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
