Greensfork: Marilyn Roberts, 79, of rural Greensfork, IN passed away peacefully Saturday December 18, 2010. She was born on May 4, 1931, in Richmond, IN, the daughter of the late William R. and Minnie Lee (Pireson) Force. She was a devoted wife and mother, and beloved sister and aunt. Marilyn was a homemaker who loved cooking and caring for her family. German potato salad was her specialty, a family favorite, among many others. Survivors include, - 2 sons- Steve (Julia) Roberts of Liberty and Richard Roberts of Greensfork; 3 grandchildren; Andrew (Melanie) Roberts of Centerville, Matthew Roberts of Liberty and Ryan Roberts of Centerville; 3 great-grandchildren; Jayda ,Jaeden and Nicholas, sister - in-law; Mary Lou Force and several nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband; Curtis Roberts on December 12, 2007 They were married in Cincinnati OH in 1950. She had 3 brothers; Gene, William and Donald Force; 2 sisters- Wilma Force and Margie Stiens. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m.on Thursday December 23, 2010 at the Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH with Rev. Steve Abernathy officiating.
