CAMBRIDGE CITY - Margaret Lillian (Maher) Lamb, 92, passed away Thursday evening February 20, 2014 at Rosebud Village in Richmond, Indiana. Margaret was born in Connersville, Indiana on April 22, 1921 to the late Walter and Rachel (Monroe) Maher. She married Floyd Lamb on July 31, 1943 at the Pershing United Methodist Church where she was a member, played the organ and taught Sunday School for over forty years. Margaret has made her home in Cambridge City since 1943 and delivered Meals on Wheels for over twenty years, played in bowling leagues, euchre clubs, enjoyed taking senior trips, working in her yard and dancing, especially at the Raleigh Community Club. Margaret loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. Survivors include her daughters, Sherri (Scott) Taylor of Richmond, Kathi (Wayne, Jr.) Todd of Cambridge City; grandchildren, Johnny (Emma) Harrod, Zachary Todd, Hannah Todd; great-grandson, Lucas Harrod; brother Everett Maher of Richmond. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband on September 16, 1980; brothers, James & Charles Maher; sisters, Juanita Maher, Charlotte Carter; special friend, Maurice Gordon. Family and friends may call at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin from 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2014. Pastor Chris Sitler will officiate.
