Richmond- Margaret L. Jennings, 76, passed away on Sunday March 29, 2009 at the Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana after a brief illness. A daughter of the late Howard and Sylvia R. Smith Jefferis, Margaret was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 30, 1932. She had lived in New Paris, Ohio before moving to Richmond many years ago. Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was employed by Phillips Drug Store at their downtown location. Survivors include 4 children- Barry (Linda) Jennings, Marlenia Kay (Jay) Troutwine, Randy (Sue) Jennings and David (Treasa) Jennings; 9 grandchildren- Terry, Todd (Melissa) and Travis Jennings and Tracy (Matt) Gray, Jason (Heather), Jeremy (Nicole), and Joshua (Kacey) Troutwine, Daniel David Jennings and Candace Jennings; 17 great grandchildren; 2 sisters- Phyllis Ballenger and Dorothy Hubble; 2 brothers- Bob and Ray Jefferis; 3 half brothers- Wilbur, Richard and Rick DeBruler; several nieces, nephews and many close friends and co - workers. Margaret was preceded in death by her son Daniel Duane "Danny" Jennings on August 26, 1954 and a brother Paul W. Jefferis on October 6, 2001. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday April 2, 2009 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Pastor John Reynolds of the Connersville Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday April 1 at the funeral home.
