LEWISVILLE- Loretta Ann Burgess, 75, passed away Wednesday morning June 22, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Kingwood, Texas. A daughter of the late John and Velma (Moorman) Gaddis, Loretta was born in Lewisville, Indiana on November 7, 1940. Loretta attended Straughn School and had lived in Lowell, Indiana prior to moving to Kingwood, Texas in 1986. She had worked as a waitress. Loretta was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In her leisure, she enjoyed shopping with her grandkids, spending time with her family and going to the casino. Survivors include her 2 children, Melissa (James) Baikauskas of Kingwood, TX and Russ Edward (Nancy) Burgess of Kingsport, TN; 4 grandchildren, Emily and Sara Burgess, Braden and Cole Baikauskas; 4 siblings, Martha Jane Smith of Kingwood, TX, Herb Gaddis of Aurora, CO, Robert Gaddis and Shirley Giboney both of Straughn; nieces and nephews. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, William Russell Burgess on January 26, 1999. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. on Monday June 27, 2016 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at the Lewisville Cemetery in Lewisville, Indiana
