LEWISVILLE- Lloyd H. Poore, 92, passed away on Sunday afternoon February 21, 2016 at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle, Indiana. A son of the late Jerry P. and Myrtie (Stanford) Poore, Lloyd was born in Byrdstown (Picket County), Tennessee on January 21, 1924. He was a veteran of World War II and honorably discharged from the United States Army Air Force. Lloyd was a lifetime farmer and longtime resident of rural Lewisville. He retired from New Castle Chrysler Corporation after 23 years of service. Lloyd is survived by his 2 children, Jerry Carl Poore of Florida and Linda (Poore) Souder of Straughn. There will be no public services. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
