It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Esther Dorgan, a beloved wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend. Born on May 3, 1960, in Adrian, Michigan, Lisa departed this world on June 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and dedication that touched all who knew her.
Lisa was the cherished daughter of Bobby and Esther Baughey. A proud graduate of Walter P. Chrysler High School in 1978, Lisa soon embarked on a journey that would define her life marrying the love of her life, Jerry L. Dorgan, on October 20, 1979. Together they built a family grounded in love and understanding, welcoming three wonderful children into the world.
Lisa was a beacon of joy and warmth, touching the lives of many with her fun and bubbly personality. She had and infectious sense of humor that could light up any room and bring laughter to all who knew her. Her ability to find joy in the simplest moments inspired those around her to embrace life’s beauty. Lisa was known for her unwavering faith and devotion to reading the bible and the teachings of the lord. Her hands were rarely still, always busy with crocheting, knitting, or sewing, crafting beautiful pieces that were as intricate and warm as her own spirit. However, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren, filling their lives with stories, laughter, and boundless affection.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Jerry L. Dorgan, her beloved children Shawn M. Dorgan and Kyle L. Dorgan (Zoie). She also leaves behind her dear brother Philip A. Baughey, and three treasured grandchildren Eli, Ellie, and Lilly who will carry forward her legacy of love. Lisa is now reunited in peace with her late parents, Bobby and Esther Baughey, her brother Paul L. Baughey and her infant daughter, Jessica L. Dorgan.
Lisa was known for her loyalty and perseverance, qualities that shone brightly in every aspect of her life. She loved her family fiercely and was a steadfast pillar of support for her husband and children. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication to her loved ones were evident in all she did, making her a guiding light for those fortunate enough to ne touched by her presence. As we bid farewell to Lisa, we remember her not only for her remarkable love and strength but also for the joy she brought into our lives. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who knew her, a testament to a life well-lived and a love that will never fade.
Rest in peace, dear Lisa. Your life was blessing to us all, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure, forever a part of the infinite, forever remembered, forever missed.
