CAMBRIDGE CITY- Linda K. Smiley, 65, passed away Wednesday evening December 21, 2011 at the I.U.- Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. A daughter of the late James and Virginia (Sapp) Brockman, Linda was born in Richmond, Indiana on May 25, 1946. A lifelong member of the Dublin, Cambridge City / Western Wayne community, Linda was a graduate of Lincoln High School. A homemaker and loving mother, Linda began working outside the home once her children were in school. She had worked in food service at Lincoln High School and most recently was employed by Gas America at 1 & 70. Survivors include her husband James N. Smiley of Pershing; 3 children, James A.(Angie) Smiley of Milford, Kelly (Tracy) Wilson of Franklin and Kim (Jeff)Boulware of Cambridge City; 8 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild. Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday January 7, 2012 at the Zion's Lutheran Church, 1151 S. Germantown Road, Pershing, IN 47370. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Reid Foundation, Hospice Care- 1100 Reid Parkway / Richmond, IN 47374 or the donors local hospice organization.
