Linda Louise (Longnecker) Cline, 79, of Dublin passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 30, 2026, at the Waters of New Castle. A daughter of the late James Edward and Ruby Fern (Rudisell) Longnecker, Linda was born on May 25, 1947, in Wayne County, Indiana. 

A lifelong resident of the Western Wayne community, Linda was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Cambridge City. She owned and operated The Carousel hair salon in Dublin, and worked as a beautician for 50 years. In her leisure, she enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union (The Little Red Church) in Dublin. 

Survivors include her 2 children, Angela (Billy) Cornett and Rick Cline; 3 grandchildren, Houston Cornett and Lucian (Shelby) Cornett. and Ruby Malone; 5 great grandchildren, Cayson, Jackson, Ava, Brinlee and Hendrix; 4 siblings, Bill (Janice) Longnecker, Dick Longnecker, Christal Henderson and Tom (Donna) Longnecker. 

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Cline, who passed away on March 20, 2022; 5 siblings, Cassie Lynch, Edward, Robert, John, and Nancy Longnecker. 

Visitation for Linda will be on Friday July 3, 2026 from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin, Indiana.
