Pershing - Lela Freed, 94, of Pershing passed away at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville on August 7, 2019. A daughter of the late Otto and Helena Fern (Myers) Freed, Lela was born in Washington County Indiana on April 15, 1925. She had lived in Salem, Indiana prior to moving to the Western Wayne community 69 years ago. She retired from the Ford plant in Connersville on December 31, 1992.

She is survived by her nephew, Billy Joe Norman and his wife Marcia.

Honoring Lela's wishes, a private graveside service was held on Friday August 9th at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin.
