BENTONVILLE- Laura Jean Bean, 53, passed away Saturday afternoon March 7, 2020 at I.U. Health- University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. A daughter of Walter and Judy (Simmermeyer) Nobbe, Laura was born in New Castle, Indiana on August 21, 1966.  A lifelong resident of Fayette County, Laura was raised on the farm near Bentonville. She graduated from Connersville Senior High School with the class of 1984.   Laura had worked as a beautician and as an electric meter reader. What brought her the most joy and fulfillment in life was working with her husband John on the farm, raising their children and babysitting the grandkids.  She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, planting flowers and doing yard work. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.

Laura is survived by her parents; her husband of 34 years, John Bean, whom she married on September 21, 1985 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church;  4 children, Ashley (Daniel) Harmeyer, Mat (Heather) Bean, Nick Bean and Seth Bean; 3 grandchildren, Wyatt and Maddox Harmeyer and Cooper Bean; 4 siblings, Teresa (Robert) Glover, Alan (Traci) Nobbe, Amy (Butch) Russell and Luke (Kristie) Nobbe.

The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday March 11, 2020 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.  Fr. John Hall will officiate.  Burial will follow at Bentonville Cemetery.
