Kimberly (Mathers) Nicholson, 53, of New Castle, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2012 at Glen Oaks after an extended illness. Kimberly was born on May 31, 1958 in Crown Point, Indiana. She moved to Florida upon graduation from Crown Point High School in 1976 and then moved from Florida to Henry County in 1984. She was employed by the South Henry School Corporation for 14 years as Secretary/Treasurer of the Spiceland Elementary School. Survivors include her son Jake Nicholson of Lewisville; her mother, Betty Mathers Herny of New Castle; her sister, Deborah Magiera (husband Joel) of Straughn; her brother, Douglas Mathers (wife Deanna) of Mishawaka; nephew, Josh Magiera (wife Angela) of Straughn; niece, Emily Magiera of Straughn; and nephews, Justin and Ryan Mathers mof Mishawaka. Kimberly's father, Arthur Mathers and her step father, Fred Herny preceded her in death. Visitation will be from 3- 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday March 27, 2012 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville. Memorial Services will follow at 7 p.m. with Chaplain Robert Schaeffer officiating.
