Connersville- Kenneth Blaine Thomas, 66, of rural Fayette County, passed away at his home on Sunday June 3, 2018. A son of the late Richard Wayne and Audrey (Hattendorf) Thomas, Kenneth was born in Batavia, Illinois on June 12, 1951. Kenneth worked as a brick mason and has lived in several areas of the country including Sulphur Springs, Maryland and most recently Hanover Park, Illinois. Kenneth and his wife Ocie, moved to his family homestead eight years ago to begin a restoration project on the old farmhouse. Kenneth was a United States Air Force veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a self learned man and always eager to take on any task.

Survivors include his wife, Ocie (Posener) Thomas, whom he married in Fairmont, West Virginia in 1987. 2 step children, Wynne Elizabeth Woodyear of Greensboro, NC and Edward Lee Woodyear of Brooklyn, NY.
