LEWISVILLE - Kathryn Mae Cumming, 95, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle, Indiana. A daughter of the late Harry H. and Olive (Jordan) Haynes, Kathryn was born on April 30, 1919 in Dwight, Illinios. She graduated from Dwight Twonship High School with the class of 1937. Kathryn married Rodgers Cumming on August 30, 1957 in LaSalle County, Illinois and together they ran Cumming Music Center in Coal City, Illinois until retiring to Venice, Florida in 1984. Kathryn enjoyed crafting, especially ceramics. She was a member of the Coal City Presbyterian Womens Club, Band Boosters, and Red Hat Society. Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Shores of Lewisville; son, Todd Cumming of Coal City, Illinois; grandchildren, Kim Shores, Amy (Jeremy) Spera, Carrie (Duke) Falck, Ryan (Breann) Cumming, Tori Cumming; great-grandchildren, Destiny Spera, Kirsten and Kyle Falck; 2 nephews, 1 niece. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband on March 3, 2003; sons, Thomas H. Parks, William H. Parks; son-in-law, Doug Shores; grandson, Josh Cumming; brother, William Haynes; sisters, Virginia Roessler, Elizabeth Vermillion. Graveside services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Lewisville Cemetery. Rev. Arthur Whitaker will officiate. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, 115 W.
