Milton: Katharine Anne "Kathy" Hook, 41, passed away Wednesday July 27, 2011 at her home in Milton. Kathy was born on May 19, 1970 in San Diego, California, the daughter of Charles and Hazel (Mooney) Schafer. Formerly of Vista, California, Kathy has lived in Milton for the past 11 years. She was a member of LIUNA Union Local 1047 and worked for Milestone Construction. She enjoyed raising her family and her new grandson. Survivors include her husband, Brian R. Hook. They were married in 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada. 3 children, Angela (Paul Pitcher) Hook, Jonathon (Meagan Flannery) Hook, and Bailey Hook, all of Milton; grandson, Beau Hook; sisters, Jacqueline Schafer-Ramirez of Phoenix, AZ, Brenda Perez of Yuma, AZ, Melinda Hook, Kim Hook and Rachel (Daniel) Morrell all of Cambridge City; brothers, Scott Lance of Maryland, Maurice Hook of North Carolina, and Tommy (Emily) Hook of Ramona, CA; mother in-law, Peggy Hook o Cambridge City; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father Charles Schafer and her father in-law, Marion "Randy" Hook Services will be on Tuesday August 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Marshall and Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin with burial to follow at the Westside Cemetery in Milton. Paul Pitcher will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday August 1, 2011 at the funeral home.
