Obituary

Dublin: Olive "June" Hofert, 84, of Dublin, went to see the Lord on Sunday April 10, 2011. June was born in Henry County, Indiana on June 6, 1926, the daughter of the late Espy and Lillian (Williamson) Hunt. She has lived over 50 years in the Dublin community, where she was grandma to all the neighorhood children. Her faith was a very important part of her being. She was a homemaker and loved to bake, cook and be with her family. June worked at the Coffee Pot restaurant and provided home health care. She was an active member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Dublin Survivors include 6 children, John Godwin of Eclectic, Alabama, Linda Davis of Richmond, Nancy Haler of Dublin, Sierra Godwin of Cambridge City, Greg Custer of Dublin and Pam Chaney of Dublin, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, brother , Glen Hunt of Cambridge City and several nieces and nephews. June was precede in death by parents, 2 brothers and a great grandchild. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday April 14, 2011 at the First missionary Baptist Church / Dublin, Indiana. Pastor Jim Noggle of the Frist Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at the South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin. Visitation will be on Wednesday April 13, 2011 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin.
