CAMBRIDGE CITY- Judith A. “Judy” Lowe of Cambridge City, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, May 8, 2026 surrounded by family after a brief illness. Judy was born to Laura K. (Marshall) Gard and William “Bill” O. Harris Sr. on September 11, 1952, in Richmond, Indiana. She was a 1970 Graduate of Centerville High School and married the love of her life, Hollis “Hollie” Lowe Jr. on December 23,1972. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin, sister-in-Christ and friend. Judy had a very loving, selfless nature and always put everyone else above her own needs. She had an unwavering love for her family and friends. If you were in Judy’s home, you were treated like family, as she always wanted to make sure you had a meal, pie, cake, coffee while enjoying your visit. Judy had many talents, some of her most enjoyed hobbies included- cooking, sewing, crocheting, quilting and taking care of others. Her most cherished time was spent creating special memories with her family and friends. Judy had a deep love for the Lord and her church family at First Missionary Baptist Church of Dublin, Indiana. Her smile and laughter were contagious and brightened every room. Everyone that knew her loved her.
Judy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Hollis “Hollie” Lowe Jr.; daughter, Amy Gowin (Robert); son, Bryan Lowe (Brandi); stepson, Jim Potts (Teresa); grandchildren Melinda (“Mindy) Andersen (Dean), Kristen “Kristi” Puckett (Kameron), Spencer Lowe, Peyton Malloy, Andrew Malloy, Caylee Williams, Devon Potts, Bryce Potts; step mother, Ruby Siler; brothers, William “Bill” Harris Jr. (Robin), Gerald “Jerry” Harris (Tina), Paul Harris and sister, Tammie Harris (Charlie Rose); along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Gard and father, William “Bill” Harris Sr.
Friends may pay their respects at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, on Tuesday, May 12th from 11a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m.. Burial will follow at Valley Grove Cemetery south of Milton.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the memories Judy gave us and the love that will continue to live on through all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished and never forgotten.
