Obituary

DUBLIN - Joyce Arlene (Benjamin) Vincent, 80, of Dublin, Indiana died Thursday, April 2, 2015 in Morristown Manor following an extended illness. Joyce was born in Straughn, Indiana, a daughter of the late Milt Benjamin and the late Arnetta (Riley) Benjamin. She graduated from Straughn High School. Originally a homemaker, Joyce became a long-time physician office assistant where she coordinated the surgical schedules of Ear, Nose & Throat surgeons in Falls Church, Va. After retirement, she returned to Indiana and enjoyed living at the Dublin Senior Center where she had many old and new friends. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Vincent Springer, Second Grade NYPD Detective in Special Victims Unit, Ret., of Staten Island, New York; Anita Vincent Cucchiaro, M.D., of Potomac Falls, Virginia, and a son, James Vincent, MSG, U.S. Army, Ret., of Janesville, California, and several grandchildren. Family and friends may gather from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015, with a service to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Marshall and Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Honoring Joyce's wishes, following cremation, her ashes will be scattered in the Atlantic Ocean she loved so much.
