NEW CASTLE- Joshua Lee Bowlin, 24, passed away on Saturday August 16, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis from injuries following an autombile accident on August 7th in Rush County. Joshua was born in Greenfield, Indiana on May 4, 1990. He has lived his entire life in the New Castle, Spiceland and Lewisville communities and was a 2008 graduate of Tri High School where he played basketball. Following high school Joshua joined the United States Marine Corps and was recently employed by INTAT in Rushville where he worked as a molder in the foundry. In his leisure, Joshua enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and watching sports. In death Joshua will continue to help others by his choice to be an organ and tissue donor. Survivors include his mom and step father, Anita L. (Query) and Larry A. Engle of New Castle; 2 sisters, Mindy Bowlin and Alysun Limburg; 3 brothers, Jeff and Alex Limburg and Noah Hein; 3 step brothers, Randy, Tony and Gary Engle; grandparents, Larry and Dorothy Bowlin of Lewisville, Don and Bobbie Jo Query of Straughn, Linda Lair of Rushville, Barb and Earl Limburg of Hagerstown; aunts and uncles, Julia and Brian Hoffman, Donita and Derek Davis, Karen Dale, Don Query Jr., Jim and April Limburg; 10 nieces and nephews including a special niece, Shaylee Adkins whom he loved to spend time with; several cousins. Joshua was preceded in death by his cousin Sara Hoffman on August 16, 1990; grandmother, Nila Lamb; great grandparents, Paul and Hettie Bowlin, Rufus and Ruth Green, Harland and Ruth Query, Wallace and Redith Lair. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the the start of a funeral service at 6 p.m. on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Lewisville. Pastor Tony Augsburger will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to the donors favorite charity.
