CONNERSVILLE-  Jody M. Chapman, 71, passed away at his home in Connersville, Indiana early Saturday morning March 6, 2021.  Jody was born in New Castle, Indiana on January 14, 1950. He grew up in the Cambridge City community and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1968.  He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy after his service during the Vietnam War.  Jody worked as a welder and enjoyed playing golf in his leisure.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Jane (Houghland) Hook.  They were married in Connersville on November 11, 2006; his daughter, Jennifer Hammons and granddaughter, Makala Hammons; siblings, Jim and Jay Hughes and Lesa Cadwallader; half-brothers, Donnie, Mark and Clark Keenan.

Jody was preceded in death by his father, George Chapman; mother, Lois (Ryan) Keenan; 3 siblings, infant Johnny, Dean and Tommie Cadwallader.
