CAMBRIDGE CITY-  Joan Marie Blackburn, 89, passed away at her home in Cambridge City on Sunday afternoon November 29, 2020.  A daughter of the late Hugh and Eva (Roth) Fagan, Joan was born on the family farm north of Cambridge City on July 6, 1931.  She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School and Beauty School in Fort Wayne.  Joan worked for 47 years as a beautician in New Castle prior to her retirement.  She married the late Haskell E. Blackburn on December 17, 1950 at the Jacksonburg Christian Church.  He passed away June 2, 2015.  Joan is survived by nieces and nephews.

Joan's request of no public services is being honored.  Following cremation at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, Joan will be laid to rest at Jacksonburg Cemetery.
