LEWISVILLE - James R. "Jim" Ringle, 67, passed away Sunday morning November 26, 2017 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana. A son of the late William J. and Dorothy (Eckert) Ringle, Jim was born in Tiffin, Ohio on August 11, 1950. He was a graduate of Tiffin-Columbian High School and Ohio State Barber College. He has made his home in Lewisville for the pat 26 years. He worked as a maintenance supervisor in the foundry industry.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, the former Susan Kay Smith. They were married in Monroe, Michigan on April 24, 1971; 3 children, Gary (Nicole) Ringle of Delaware, OH, Tanya (Shane) Shaw of Zanesville, OH and Amy (Larry) Grant of Lapel, IN; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Carrie Ann LeCrone of Savannah, GA and Sharon Lowry of Columbus, OH. Jim was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and William Ringle.

Following cremation at the Eastern Indiana Crematory of Dublin, private services will be held at a future date. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
