MILTON- Jeffrey Scott Dalrymple, 51, passed away Sunday evening June 7, 2009 at Lincoln Centers Nursing Home in Connersville after a 9 month illness. Jeff was born in New Castle, Indiana on October 7, 1957. He has lived his whole life in the Milton community and graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City with the class of 1976. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time on the water in his boat, sports and his computer. Jeff had worked as a machinist for Midway Manufacturing and Mosey Manufacturing in Richmond and for the past 10 years he has been employed by Autocar in Hagerstown. Survivors include 1 brother- Richard Dean (Debbie) Dalrymple of Dublin; 2 sisters- Jennifer Kay (Randy) Boyd of Richmond and Sharon A. (Wayne) Pollitt of Connersville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father- Vernon Scott Dalrymple on June 6, 2000; mother- Margaret Lorene Greene Dalrymple on December 2, 2007; brother- Thomas L. Greene on August 27, 2003; nephew- David Scott Boyd on November 29, 1995; infant niece and nephew- Penelope Rae and Carl Christopher Greene. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday June 11, 2009 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Rev. James Honaker will officiate. Burial will follow at the Zion's Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday June 10 at the funeral home.
