Knightstown: Jeff Rummel, 54, of Knightstown, passed away at his home on Friday October 8, 2010 while surrounded by his family. He was born on January 26, 1956 in Henry County Indiana, the son of Charles and Charlotta Mae "Lottie" (Hawk) Rummel. Jeff, loved his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, football and NASCAR. Surviving relatives include his wife of 17 years, Kathy (Brown) Rummel of Knightstown; 2 daughters; Kelly and Tracy; grandson Evan Thomas; father, Charles Rummel; 2 brothers, Tim Rummel (Brenda Whichard) of Wilkinson and Randy ( Linda) Rummel of Knightstown; 3 sisters, Vicki (Jeff) Toon of Manilla, Cathy Louise Rummel (fiance' Tom Merkamp) of Economy and Cammy ( Jeff) Theobald of New Castle; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotta Mae "Lottie" Rummel on May 5, 2010 and nephew, Justin Theobald on May 8, 1983. Services will be on Wednesday October 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Marshall &Erlewein Funeral Home in Lewisville, with Rev. Marion L. Hickman officating. Burial will follow at the Lewisville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 12, 2010 at the funeral home in Lewisville.
