LEWISVILLE- Jeannette K. Kuhn- Hubbell, 63, passed away Wednesday morning December 28, 2011 at I.U.- Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. A daughter of the late Wilford and Violet Rose (Morris) Chaney, Jeannette was born in Connersville, Indiana on November 3, 1948 and graduated from the Connersville High School with the class of 1966. Formerly of the Everton community, Jeannette had worked for J.C. Penny, Farm Bureau Co-Op, the Connersville Credit Bureau and D & L Paint Company in Liberty. She became disabled in 1992 and was no longer able to hold a full time job. She remained busy by helping her husband John around the farm in rural Lewisville, working on the organizing committee for her class reunions and working the poll at Bentonville on election day. Jeannette also attended and was very active in the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, John C. Hubbell. They were married in the tool shed on the family farm on May 26, 1990. 3 children, Lea (David) Fledderman of Brookville, Lawrie (Phillip) Willis of Delano, Tennessee and David (Susan) Hubbell of Lewisville; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 1 sister, Cheryl (Kenneth) Boggs of Tampa, Florida. Jeannette was preceded in death by her 1st husband Lawrence W. "Bud" Kuhn Jr. and a step brother, Paul W. Chaney. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday January 2, 2012 at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Rev. Arthur Whitaker will officiate. Burial will follow at the Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday January 1 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin.
