CAMBRIDGE CITY- Jean Robeson, 87, passed away at her home unexpectedly on Friday February 21, 2014. The only child of the late Allen and Lydia (Rowe) Markham, Jean was born in Falmouth, Indiana on October 14, 1926. Jean graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1944. She married John William Robeson in Rushville on November 7, 1948 and had lived in Lewisville for a short time before moving to the Cambridge City area. A homemaker, Jean had worked in Connersville for Miller's Ice Cream Shop and McQuay-Norris. She also worked for Chore Boy in Cambridge City. Jean enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband on November 13, 2006. Survivors include her 3 sons, Steven John (Barbara) Robeson of Milton, Thomas Sherman (Randi Brown) Robeson of Richmond and William Allen (Teresa) Robeson of Cambridge City; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the services at 1 p.m on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
