Knightstown- Jean C. Jones, 76, passed away on Wednesday evening June 9, 2010 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana. A daughter of the late Thomas and Maude (Lamb) Monger, Jean was born in Cambridge City, Indiana on May 30, 1934. Formerly of the Cambridge City and Pershing communities, Jean graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1952 and has made her home in Knightstown since 1977. She worked at the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Home for 6 years and retired from Mayhill Publications in Knightstown in 1995 where she worked as the distribution manager. Survivors include 3 daughters- Donna Norton of Franfort, Kentucky Linda Suec Amity Jones 7 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 1 sister- Betty Morgan of Gaston; special friend- Oleta Jarvis of Knightstown She was preceded in death by 1 brother- Paul Monger; 1 sister- Barbara Hill. Graveside services will be held at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association: Midwest Affiliate- 208 S.
