LEWISVILLE - Jared V. Wininger, 26, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 5, 2023. He was born June 5, 1996 in New Castle and shares a birthday with his late mother.

Jared was a 2015 graduate of Shenandoah High School where he excelled at basketball as a 3-year varsity player and All-County player. He also played for multiple youth and AAU teams, as well as an adult league. He had worked as an HVAC installer for the past 3 years.

He was a rockstar uncle. Willing to do anything to make his nieces and nephews laugh. He always made sure they knew how much Uncle J loved them. He was a great son, wonderful friend, and the best little brother.

Jared was preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer Tyner-Dwenger; his grandfather and grandmother, Joe and Beverly Burries, and uncles, Steve and Terry Anthony. He is survived by his father, David Dwenger; sisters, Melissa (Alex) and Hannah (Torrey); nieces, Mya and Rylan; nephews, Graiden and Tommy; aunts, Janelle Rainey, Mary England, and Lorraine Anthony, and cousins Whitney (Matt) Horsley, Patrick (Mallory) Truster, and Gemma, Martin, and Vicki Anthony.
