DUBLIN- Janice Louise Wright, 88, passed away Wednesday morning April 14, 2010 at Arbor Trace Health & Living Center in Richmond, Indiana. A daughter of the late Royden and Laura (Rothermel) Wolfang, Janice was born in Richmond, Indiana on January 30, 1922. Janice was raised in the Milton community and attended school there. She lived most or her adult life in the Dublin and Cambridge City communities. Janice was a homemaker and enjoyed being a mother and spending time with her grandchildren. She had worked for Doddridge Casket Company of Milton and retired in 1988 from Balanced Line Casket in Cambridge City after more than 30 years of service in the casket industry. She had attended the Dublin Friends Church and the Cambridge City Christian Church. Survivors include her 2 children- Wayne Wright Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio and Cathy (Wayne) Weaver of Centerville; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne E. Wright in 1951. They were married in Cambridge City, Indiana in 1946; brother- Donald Wolfang; 3 sisters- Mary Schell, Freida Wright and Joyce Taylor. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday April 17, 2010 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Don Rubendall will officiate. Burial will follow at the West Side Cemetery in Milton. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday April 16 at the funeral home.
