LEWISVILLE-  D. Janice Blake, 76, passed away Sunday morning June 21, 2020 at I.U. Ball Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.  A daughter of the late G.W. and Gredle (Smith) Pierce, Janice was born in Rushville, Indiana on December 27, 1943.  She was a lifelong resident of the Lewisville community.  Janice had worked at the Lewisville Hotel and Choice Technologies in Indianapolis, but most importantly, she worked as a stay at home mom, devoted wife and loving grandma.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Robert C. Blake whom she married in Muncie on March 5, 1961; 4 children, Matt (Lisa) Blake, Mark (Polly) Blake, Luke (Ashley) Blake and April (Fred) Thurman; 9 grandchildren, Cody, Austin, Cale, Lane, Noah, Ben, Logan, Abraham and Elizabeth; 1 great granddaughter, Emery; 2 brothers, Marion (Sandra) Pierce and Rex Pierce; several nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by 7 siblings, Georgia Penticuff, Benny, Bobby, Bill, Paul, Dale and John Pierce.

Private Funeral services will be at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville Chapel.  Rev. David Todd will officiate.  Burial will follow at Lewisville Cemetery.
