CAMBRIDGE CITY - James Kent Tottenhoff, 76, passed away Tuesday morning August 14, 2018. A son of the late Donald and Madelyn (Spatz) Tottenhoff, James was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on November 25, 1941. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming and served in the United States Air Force. Formerly of Chicago, Illinois, James and his wife, Marlene, were self employed in the laundry and dry cleaning business. They moved to Cambridge City in 1998 and operated City Cleaners for 7 years. In his retirement, James enjoyed his daily visits to the Golay Center, swimming and lunch at the Senior Center.

James was preceded in death by his wife, the former Marlene Lagoda on October 17, 2007. They were married on November 9, 1963.

Survivors include one son, Steven Tottenhoff of Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Honoring James' wish, cremation will take place at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home. No services are planned. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Golay Senior Center.
