Milton- James Carlton Schultheis, 69, passed away at the Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana on Tuesday July, 6, 2010. A son of the late Russell and Juanita (Winefordner) Schultheis, Jim was born in Zanesville, Ohio on March 25, 1941. He graduated from Canton Central Catholic High School in Canton Ohio. He had been a member of the Starke County Ohio Sheriff Department. He and his wife were the owner / operators of Centerville Pottery in Centerville, Indiana for 40 years. Jim had also been Centerville Town Marshal and Wayne County Special Duputy. He enjoyed drag racing, going to Las Vegas and old cars. Jim retired after 30 years of service from Ford / Visteon in Connersville, Indiana where he worked as a journeyman plumber. He served his country in the United States Army from 1959 - 1962 and was a member of the Milton Christian Church. Survivors include his son- Bill (Trish) Hemperly of Massillon, Ohio; special friend and companion- Carol Evans of Milton; 2 sisters- Shirley (Dave) Rechkemmer of San Antonio, Texas and Marilyn (Larry) Humpheries of Avon Lake, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Dorothy "Cookie" Todich on April 12, 2002. Following cremation, a celebration of Jim's life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday July 11, 2010 at the Milton Christian Church- 307 S. Central / Milton, IN 47357. Rev. Tom Cici will officiate Memorial Contributions can be made to the Milton Christian Church- P.O.
