CAMBRIDGE CITY- James Robert Allen, 71, passed away on Friday May 30, 2014 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. A son of the late George and Madge (McCartney) Funk, James was born in Richmond, Indiana on December 31, 1942. A former Richmond resident, Jim has made his home in the Dublin and Cambridge City communities for several years with his wife, the former Katherine "Kitty" (Keller) Lawson, whom he wed on August 24, 2008. He retired from Richmond State Hospital. A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday June 3rd, 2014 at the Hopewell Friends Meeting, Straughn, Indiana.
