Hagerstown- Jacob Robert "Jake" Hendershot, 16, of Hagerstown, died July 14, 2011 in Panama City Florida. Jake was born in Richmond, Indiana on November 22, 1994. He attended school in Hagerstown and enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar. Survivors include his father, Melvin O. Hendershot of Arabi, Georgia and his mother, Tommae L. (Robinson) Hendershot of Indian Mound, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Nancy Robinson of Panama City, Florida and Sarah Wilson of Lynn; 1 brother, Daniel Hendershot of Richmond; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews,and many friends. Private funeral services and burial were held on Saturday December 10. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
