CENTERVILLE- Irene F. Brown-Earlywine, 79, passed away early Thursday morning September 29, 2016 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. A daughter of the late Russell and Mildred (Myers) Brown, Irene was born in Milton, Indiana on June 23, 1937. She attended Milton School and has lived most of her life in Milton and Centerville, except for a year she spent in California, which was a treasured memory for her. Irene enjoyed playing BINGO, bird watching and spending Tuesdays with her daughter. Survivors include 2 daughters, Layvelia Moore of Connersville and Joy (husband Mark) May of Milton; stepson, Buddy Earlywine of Tennessee; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. Irene was preceded in death by 4 siblings, Babe Bird, Maurice, Dale and Francis Brown and a special friend Harold "Bill" Hodges. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday October 2, 2016 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Private graveside services will be at the convenience of the family at the Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
