DUBLIN - Helen M. Gaddis, 69, of Dublin passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at her residence. She was born on July 11, 1943 in Dublin to John Jefferson and Mattie (Stanfield) Poindexter. Helen enjoyed crocheting, making crafts, and growing flowers. Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bob" Gaddis, Sr.; children, Teresa (Ralph, Jr.) Phillips of Dublin, John (Brenda) Gaddis of Milton, Robert "Bobby" (Melissa) Gaddis of Knightstown, Michael Gaddis of Cambridge City; grandchildren, John M., Jakob, Scott, John Allen, Jason, Crystal, Maghan, and Mckenna Gaddis; step-grandchildren, Jesse Scholze, Andrew and Anthony Hayes; two great-grandchildren; brothers, James and Ralph Poindexter; sister, Betty Baumgardner; special friends, Dallas Lockhart, Denise Mann. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Justin Gaddis; brothers, Kenneth, David, Paul, John, and Donald Poindexter, sisters, Dorothy Lewis, Gladys Baumgardner. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Pastor Chris Sitler will officiate.
